Urban Gardening with the Natural History Museum

Urban gardens are an important resource for wildlife. It is believed that gardens are as important as the countryside.

Natural History Museum

There is a wildlife garden at the Natural History Museum in London and their blog talks about the wildlife and plants that live there. It has been setup with lots of different landscapes such as woodland, chalk downland.

They have bees, butterflies and birds plus some rare plants including orchids.

It’s open to the public up until 15 October and by appointment after that date.
